little information about me
Hi there, my name is Malte Prieß. I am crazy for many kinds of sports, climbing, hiking, mountain biking, kitesurfing, snowboarding and skiing (especially touring ski) and finally kite foiling. I started the latter in 2018 and this is, among being in the mountains, my absolute favorite sport. Its fast, challenging, feels like flying and you can go out at and explore so many different places not possible using usual surfing setups. Apart from my love for sports, I am father of two lovely and crazy little sons, happily married and love my job as a professor in Kiel working with young talents.
I have expertise in the fields of business (IT) consulting, project management, mathematical modelling, numerical mathematics, data science, maschine and deep learning, artificial intelligence, software development and programming (JAVA, C++, Python, R, Matlab). I am a highly commited person love working at the cutting edge together with clever people.
